Nigel Davies has pledged his players will head to Thomond Park next weekend and go out "all guns blazing" as they try to regain control of Pool 1.
Their 17-14 home defeat against two-times Heineken Cup winners Munster was their first in three outings and it came after they had raced into an eight point lead in front of a club record tournament gate of 13,183.
"The players are all very disappointed and frustrated because they feel they didn't do themselves justice. It won't be difficult to pick them up for next week," said Davies.
"We will go to Thomond Park with all guns blazing and have a real crack at it, just as we did when we went to Northampton and won. I firmly believed before the game we could win it and had we been more accurate we could have done.
"But it was almost Test match intensity out there today and Munster put so much pressure on us. There is no margin for error at that level and we simply weren't accurate enough.
"We had the game within our grasp, but in the first 20 minutes we didn't take a couple of great opportunities. There were also eight points we left out there in kicks an you can't afford that against a team like Munster."
Munster head coach Tony McGahan doesn't believe his side have put away the threat of the Scarlets just yet and is hoping for a
14th straight win over their Welsh rivals next weekend to finish off the job and build on their two point lead at the top of the Pool
"We are only half way through this tie and we are well aware of the threat they possess. We were under the pump for the first 25 minutes and we were lucky that Rhys Priestland missed a few kicks he would normally slot over," said McGahan.
"The crucial point for us was between 70-74 minutes when we held them out. There were five or six of their players on their knees after that.
"We really needed our forwards to front up and the scrum gave us a strong platform and everyone tackled and drove well."
