New Glasgow Warriors signing Rory Lamont believes Sunday's clash with Montpellier is 'huge for the club'.
Lamont, who today took part in his first training session at the club since rejoining, has been registered as an 'additional player' so could feature for the Warriors this weekend.
His new side kicked off their Heineken Cup campaign in style beating Bath at Firhill but lost to Champions Leinster in Round 2.
They now face back-to-back games against Montpellier, the first of which is at home on Sunday and Lamont can already feel the excitement building ahead of the fixture.
"It's great to be back at Glasgow,'" he said .
"I really enjoyed my first couple of days, catching up with the boys in the squad I already know and familiarising myself with the new faces.
"Sunday's game is massive for the whole club, and I can sense a real excitement in the group about the challenge that lies ahead.
"I know from my first spell with the Warriors that the Glasgow fans can make a massive impact on matches like this one with the passion that they bring, and it would be great to see another big crowd behind us this weekend."
