The Ospreys are relishing the prospect of taking on English Champions Saracens at Wembley in just over a weeks time, a game which Jonathan Humphreys believes could go a long way to deciding the outcome of Pool 5.
Saracens ended the Ospreys' hopes at the quarter-final stage of the 2007 / 2008 tournament, winning 19-10 at Vicarage Road in the only previous Heineken Cup meeting between the sides, and go into the Wembley showdown at Pool leaders courtesy of a better try count after the opening rounds.
"This double header with Saracens will go a long way to determine who comes out of the group and we are really looking forward to it," said Ospreys forwards coach Jonathan Humphreys.
"Saracens are a good side and we are all looking forward to playing at Wembley - it is a major football venue and we're playing one of the best teams in the English league.
"It might not be their 'home' venue but they've had the advantage of playing there before when they took their game against Leinster there last season.
"Switching the game means you get more people through the gates and the atmosphere will be fantastic but, as with every European game, the pressure it on the home side.
"It's important to get something there not just because we're in a tight Pool but to give us a slight edge going into our home game six days later.
"In the double headers you want to pick something up away and pick everything up at home."
The Ospreys had to settle for two points from their trip to Benetton Treviso and a last-gasp 26-26 draw and Humphreys admits that that could still prove a costly slip.
"We will have to wait and see how the Treviso result goes," he said, "whether our draw out there was a good or bad result.
"Now it is Saracens, a young and talented group who've had the advantage of being together for long periods as they don't lose many players to internationals and they have a pretty consistent group.
"They have a lot of depth and it will be testing for us but hopefully we can go up there and give a good account of ourselves."
