Leicester Tigers captain Geordan Murphy reckons there is much more to come from the former Champions this season.
His side may sit at the helm of Pool 4 after winning their opening two clashes in this season's Heineken Cup but Murphy believes they can build on those victories and promises there is more to come.
"We can build on recent performances and we have been building since key players came back from the World Cup," he told the Leicester Mercury.
"We are unbeaten since then and I still think we are not where we can get to.
"We had a good win against a good Ulster side, it was hard-fought, and ground out.
"It was great, but I think there's better rugby in us. I don't think we are the finished article yet. There's a lot we can improve on.
"It's difficult for us at the minute because we keep damaging centres and we have a few injuries to the forwards.
"We have not had a first-choice team out, we have been battling along through injuries for quite a while.
"There's no doom and gloom. But I still think we can improve."
Leicester will be looking to build on victories over Aironi and Ulster when they face ASM Clermont Auvergne in back-to-back games later this month.
First up for the Tigers is a trip to Stade Marcel Michelin on Sunday December 11 to face the French side before welcoming them to Welford Road the following weekend.
