Cardiff Blues number 8 Xavier Rush will make a timely return to action for his side this weekend after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The New Zealander limped off in the 22
nd minute of the Blues' victory over London Irish in Round 2 of the Heineken Cup and missed the Welsh region's tie against Aironi a week later.
He returns to the starting line-up for the game against Leinster in the PRO12 this weekend, which is perfect timing ahead of back-to-back games against Edinburgh in Rounds 3 and 4 of the Heineken Cup.
Rush, who lifted the Amlin Challenge Cup with the Blues in 2010, has made 34 appearances in Europe during his seven years in south Wales.
The Blues and Edinburgh, who are both unbeaten in this year's competition to date, face each other in the first of the back-to-back ties at Cardiff City Stadium on Friday December 9th.
