Compatriots Bayonne and Bordeaux-Begles kick off Round 2 of European action on Thursday night when the sides meet at Stade Jean Dauger.
Bayonne go into the game on the back of a opening European victory, whilst Bordeaux have to regroup following a convincing defeat at the hands of London Wasps.
Bayonne haven't reached the knock-out stage of a European competition since 2006 so will be looking to record a home win to keep up their unbeaten start.
Bordeaux had a tough return to the Amlin Challenge Cup falling to a 47 v 14 defeat to Wasps but will take confidence from a meeting earlier in the season between the sides in the French TOP14 which Bordeaux won 18 v 6.

Rovigo kicked off their 2011/12 campaign with a 43 v 10 home defeat to Bayonne.
They head to London in search of their first win in the competition in three years, whilst you have to go back to 2000 for their last win away from home and that came on English soil when they beat Bedford 20 v 10.
