Jordan Turner-Hall has given has given Saracens a major boost on the eve of their return to the Heineken Cup by signing a new two-year deal that will keep him at the Premiership leaders until 2014.
The 23-year-old, who has made 118 appearances for the London side since his debut in 2006, has been named in the starting line-up for the opening Pool 6 clash with new boys Connacht at the Twickenham Stoop on Friday night.
"I have worked very hard over the last two years and feel I have grown as a player. I have really started to see the rewards and, hopefully, this has not only benefited me but also the team," said England Saxon Turner-Hall
Quins director of rugby Conor O'Shea added: "We are delighted Jordan has committed to Harlequins. It is hard to believe that he is still only 23.
"His game has gone from strength to strength and he is now a more complete player than he was when he was involved in the senior England set-up a few seasons ago."
Camden-born Turner-Hall is a product of Harlequins' flourishing academy and has represented England at age group level from Under-16s to the Under-20s.
He received England call-ups for uncapped Tests against the Barbarians in 2009 and 2011 but is keen to build on his performances for the red rose.
"I would love to push for representative honours in the near future and to play, once again, at the next level, but this comes with playing well for Harlequins and, hopefully, winning more silverware with the club," he added.
