CR La Vila will make their European debut on Saturday - and, win or lose, they intend to make it a day to remember for their fans.
They will have home advantage when they face Agen in their opening Amlin Challenge Cup Pool 5 contest and the club are organising a Family 'Fiesta del Rugby Europeo' Day starting at 10.30am with a fun mini-rugby competition for under 8's, under 10's and under 12's
After the mini-rugby, The Association of Fishermen will be providing a complimentary Fresh Fish Fry lunch from 2.00pm until 3.30pm and there will be a range of entertainment including a bouncy castle for children, a flamenco dancer and live music.
The opening ceremony at 3.30pm will begin to the rhythmic drum beats of the Batacada Brazilian Music band, culminating in a noisy firework display as only the Spanish can do while live music entertainment will continue after the game.
The club are also providing free buses from Benidorm, Alicante and Villajoyosa.
"We now have a small pause in the league and have to focus on the Amlin Challenge Cup which will be a massive step up in pace and physicality than the boys are used to, in order to compete against some of the best teams in Europe," said coach Mark Hewitt.
