The final of the 2011/12 Amlin Challenge Cup will take place in London, tournament organisers ERC have confirmed.
Following last season's success when both European club finals were staged in Cardiff under the '4 Teams - 2 Finals - 1City' banner, this season's Amlin Challenge Cup decider will go ahead in London over the same weekend as the 2012 Heineken Cup final which has been scheduled for Saturday, 19 May at Twickenham Stadium.
Harlequins triumphed against Stade Francais in last season's final at Cardiff City Stadium and the victory earned the current Premiership leaders a coveted place in the Heineken Cup.
The 2011/12 Amlin Challenge Cup competition, comprising eight French clubs, five from England, four from Italy, one from Wales as well as Bucharest Wolves (Romania) and CR La Vila of Spain, gets under way on Thursday, 10 November with Worcester Warriors taking on Stade Francais Paris at Sixways and Toulon hosting Petrarca Rugby at Stade Mayol.
