Ospreys wing Nikki Walker and Munster full-back Felix Jones have both been ruled out of the World Cup after sustaining injuries playing in International warm-up games.
Walker picked up a knee injury in the closing stages of Scotland's victory over Italy on Saturday and will return to South Wales to receive further assessment from the Ospreys medical team to discover the full extent of the damage.
Jones, who made his debut in the Amlin Challenge Cup last season, will also miss the tournament in New Zealand after damaging ligaments in his right foot during Ireland's game against France.
He will also undergo further examination to decide whether surgery is required on the injury.
Both the Ospreys and Munster kick off their 2011/12 Heineken Cup campaigns with home games on Saturday, November 12.
The Ospreys host Biarritz Olympique at the Liberty Stadium while last season's beaten finalists, Northampton Saints, travel to Thomond Park to face Munster.
