Scarlets wing Morgan Stoddart has undergone surgery on his broken leg following the horrific injury he picked up in Wales' defeat to England at Twickenham.
Stoddart, who was only called into the starting at the last-minute when fly-half Stephen Jones pulled out with a calf injury which picked up in the warm-up, was stretched from the field in the game after breaking his leg in a tackle.
The injury was deemed so serious by host broadcasters Sky Sports that they decide not to show replays of the incident.
"It looks like a bad break, and you have got to feel for him," said Wales head coach Warren Gatland.
"We have been joking in the past, calling him 'Glass' and 'Crystal' because he does pick up a few injuries but to get an injury like that, you hope he recovers as quickly as possible."
