Steve Diamond has rung the changes at Sale, confirming the departure of 21 players and contract extensions for three young stars.
Will Cliff, Lee Imiolek and Tom Brady have all committed themselves to the club, but in addition to the 21 players leaving Edgeley Park, Diamond has also announced the departure of four backroom personnel.
The players leaving the club are:
Chris Bell, Asaeli Boko, Chris Brightwell, Sean Cox, Ben Cohen, Rhys Crane, Carl Fearns, Jack Forster, Charlie Hodgson, Matty James, Chris Jones, Sisaro Koyamaibole, Selorm Kuadey, Chris Leck, Neil McMillan, Simon McIntyre, Fergus Mulchrone, Kristian Ormsby, Nic Rouse, Eifion Roberts and Mathew Tait.
The backroom staff who are leaving are Head of Strength & Conditioning Peter Finch, Backs Coach Byron Hayward, Analysts Dan Lyne and Andrew Vernon.
"Such a wholesale change of players and coaching staff is necessary considering the performances of the club in the last two seasons. With a couple of exceptions, the club declined to make offers to the departing players and staff," said Diamon.
Scrum half Cliff, 22, has made 20 appearances for the Sharks since his debut in 2007 and his new contract will keep him at the club until 2013.
Prop Imiolek has also renewed his contract until 2013. The former England Under 20's international has made 24 first team appearances and has impressed for the Jets' side this season.
Wing Brady burst onto the scene at the start of the season and made a try scoring debut for Sale against Newcastle Falcons.
Sharks' Chief Executive Mick Hogan, delighted that the trio have signed on to serve the club, said, "This great news confirms that, amidst the multiple signings that we've announced - and there are more to follow - we're glad to recognise the depth of talent among the players coming through the ranks of the Academy. Will, Lee and Tom join James Gaskell, Henry Thomas, Iain Thornley, Will Addison and Rob Miller as the youthful core who will carry the club forward in the coming years."
