Former Amlin Challenge Cup winner Brock James was relieved to see his side come through their tough quarter-final against La Rochelle this evening.
The 29-year-old, who lifted the trophy back in 2007, scored 13 points for the French Champions to set them up with an all-French semi-final against the winners of tomorrow nights match between Stade Francais and Montpellier.
"Its all pressure games at this stage of the season and to win one is great, especially here at La Rochelle who are very strong at home," said the fly-half.
"It was a tough workout and they made it very difficult for us tonight and put us under a lot of pressure but to get the result is really pleasing.
"With 12 minutes to go we were drawing and under pressure but to come through that and win away from home is a good test and something we need to take forward with us.
"They were powerful upfront and were good on the counter attack but we hung in there and were confident towards the end and I thought we showed a lot of character scoring the late try."
