Leicester built upon a stunning 37-6 win at Bath with a 17-13 triumph at Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finalists Harlequins, with Tuilagi scoring the Tigers' only try of the game in West London.
The visitors trailed 10-0 at The Stoop before Tuilagi's intervention early in the second period set the platform for an impressive comeback.
"We're going to go to Dublin full of confidence," said Tuilagi.
"It was a scrappy game against Quins, especially at the beginning. But we came back in the second half and managed to do a few things to get some points on the board. That's what Leicester is all about.
"We know we didn't play well in the first half but we came back and recovered things.
"There's a good spirit. But we can do better than we did in the first half. We started the second half well, got a win and that's what good sides do at this time of the season."
Tuilagi and the Tigers now travel to Ireland looking to avenge a heartbreaking defeat the last time they met Leinster in continental competition.
The Irish province ran out 19-16 winners at Muarryfield in Europe's showpiece event two years ago as they secured their first Heineken Cup crown and denied Leicester their third.
Tuilagi has no desire to look back to that encounter in Edinburgh but he admits Saturday's titanic clash at the new Aviva Stadium is one he and the whole of Leicester are ready for.
"It's one of the games we've been looking forward to during the season. Big games like this in a big competition - that's where the good teams will win at the end of the day," added Tuilagi.
"It's a big game for us, especially as it's an away game. We built up our confidence this week and we now we'll just try to stay quiet and build up our confidence even more for next week.
"We won't under estimate the opposition but we know we can build from the last couple of away games.
"It's a new stadium but I got a try there when Samoa played against Ireland: happy memories."
Tuilagi will no doubt be hoping for a few more come Saturday night.
