Toulouse's victory over Perpignan at the weekend was ideal preparation for their Heineken Cup quarter-final against Biarritz Olympique according to French full-back Clement Poitrenaud.
The triple Heineken Cup winner played in the victory which extended the European Champions' lead in the Top 14 and is looking forward to the game at the San Sebastien on Sunday.
"It was very important for us to win at Perpignan after playing so poor the previous week at Stade de France against Racing-Metro," said Poitrenaud.
"It was not just the result that was important but also our attitude on the field.
"It is always very hard to play in Perpignan and they showed that when they came back from 6-14 to lead 21-14.
"But we didn't lose our spirit or power and that was good. We showed a lot of courage to come back and win.
"That is a great way to arrive for a quarter-final against Biarritz, when we will need all that confidence to produce a big performance.
"There is always a great atmosphere in San Sebastien, it is a beautiful stadium, the sun will be shining and the football pitch makes for a very fast surface to play on."
