With the build-up to the Dublin 2013 European club rugby finals intensifying by the day, the four elite clubs of ASM Clermont Auvergne, Toulon, Leinster Rugby and Stade Francais Paris, who are focused on their quest for Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup silverware respectively, won't be the only clubs with Europe on their mind over the weekend of 17 and 18 May.

Two more years for van der Merwe

DTH van der Merwe has signed a new deal with Glasgow

Glasgow Warriors have re-signed Canadian wing, DTH van der Merwe on a two-year-deal.
Since arriving in Scotland in 2009 van der Merwe has been a big hit at Firhill and crossed for three tries in the Heineken Cup Pool stage this season.
"It was quite an easy decision to make," said the 24-year-old.
"Sean Lineen (the Glasgow head coach) gave me a shot two years ago and now it's time to repay that faith."
Hot on the heals of retaining centre Graeme Morrison and bringing Ulster winger Tommy Seymour and Saracens lock Tom Ryder to the club, today's news is welcomed by head coach Lineen and is sure to be a big hit with the Glasgow fans.
"It's great news for the team and for the supporters as well," said Lineen. "He wants to stay which is important and to have an X-Factor player like that makes all the difference. He's a great weapon to have out on the wing.
"He is a good player, has a good attitude and is a quality athlete."
