England have called upon Bath's Matt Banahan to replace injured captain Mike Tindall in the centre for their Grand Slam decider against Ireland on the weekend.
Number 8 Nick Easter will captain the side in Tindall's absence and Banahan's inclusion is the only chance from the side which beat Scotland at Twickenham on Sunday.
Tindall suffered a ligament strain to his left ankle during England's 22 v 16 victory and Easter will captain his country for the second time after leading them against Samoa in Novemeber.
Saracens flyer David Strettle is called up to the replacements bench.
