England team manager Martin Johnson has made one change to his side to face Scotland in their penultimate Six Nations game with London Irish's Alex Corbisiero replacing Andrew Sheridan at loose-head prop.
Sherdian has been ruled out of the remainder of the Championship after tearing his calf and Corbisiero will win his third cap after making his debut against Italy earlier in the tournament.
Leicester flanker Tom Croft makes his return to the match day 22 after recovering from a broken shoulder and is joined on the bench by Gloucester prop Paul Doran-Jones.
Simon Shaw retains his place in the 22 despite lock Courtney Lawes returning to the squad for training this week.
As expected, Toby Flood starts at fly-half after recovering from an Achilles injury sustained in the win over France.
Croft returns to an England squad for the first time since fracturing his shoulder against South Africa in the final Test of the autumn campaign.
