With the build-up to the Dublin 2013 European club rugby finals intensifying by the day, the four elite clubs of ASM Clermont Auvergne, Toulon, Leinster Rugby and Stade Francais Paris, who are focused on their quest for Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup silverware respectively, won't be the only clubs with Europe on their mind over the weekend of 17 and 18 May.

Chesney becomes Sale's latest signing

Toulon second-row Kris Chesney has agreed a move back to England and has signed a two-year deal with Sale Sharks.
The 37-year-old has a wealth of European experience and has been an ever-present feature in the Toulon's Heineken Cup campaign this year, helping them to reach the quarter-finals in their debut season in the tournament.
"I had the pleasure of working with Kris when I was in charge at Saracens," said executive director of sport Steve Diamond.
"He has a great work ethic, is good in the lineout and is a very tough, uncompromising player. He has been playing well for Toulon since his move to France last year. This is another piece of my jigsaw completed with lots more signings to come."
Chesney joins recent signings Tony Buckley, Joe Ward, Kearnan Myall, Vadim Cobalas and Mark Easter as Diamond re-shapes the club's playing personnel.
