Bath swoop for Fearns and Beech

Fearns, 21, has been an integral part of the Sharks pack and he has signed a two-year deal with the West Country side. Having represented England at U16, U18 and U20 level, Fearns was nominated for the IRB Junior Player of the Year award for his performances at the 2009 Junior World Cup.

Beech moves to The Rec on a three-year deal after spending four seasons at London Wasps and made 31 appearances for the former Heineken Cup Champions including six European appearances.

"We are thrilled that these two very promising young players have decided to join the Club," said director of rugby, Sir Ian McGeechan.

"Both Carl and Charlie have very good set skills in their positions and will only get better over the coming seasons. They are both very ambitious players, who are keen to take the next step in their careers."
