Racing Metro are waiting to hear the full extent of playmaker Juan Martin Hernandez's injury after the 28-year-old sustained cruciate ligament damage to his right knee.
The Argentina fly-half picked up the injury in his side's 38 v 19 Top 14 victory over Bourgoin at the Stade des Alpes in Grenoble at the weekend but must wait for the results of further scans before to ascertain the full damage.
With 32 International caps to his name, Hernandez is key member of the Argentina squad and helped his country to third place in the 2007 Rugby World Cup and could face a race against time to be fit for this year's tournament in New Zealand.
