Ireland and Munster flanker, David Wallace, has agreed a contract extension which will see him stay with the province until the end of the 2011/12 season.
The 34-year-old who has two Heineken Cup winners medals to his credit said: "I'm very happy that we've agreed terms for another season. I'm enjoying my rugby right now. I feel I've plenty to offer and look forward to helping Munster achieve success."
Munster's quest for more European silverware continues when they travel to meet Brive in the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final on Saturday, 9 April (kick-off: 14.00 local time).
