Australia playmaker, Matt Giteau, has become the latest in a series of high-profile signings by Toulon who have confirmed that the 91-times capped 28-year-old will join the club after the 2011 World Cup.
The versatile Giteau who has played in two previous World Cups and who won a Super Rugby title with the ACT Brumbies in 2004, is a new world-class name to add to Toulon's list of recruits which already includes Jonny Wilkinson, George Smith, Carl Hayman, Felipe Contepomi, Joe van Niekerk and Juan Fernandez-Lobbe.
The French club, who were defeated by the Cardiff Blues in last season's Amlin Challenge Cup final, take on Perpignan in the Heineken Cup quarter-final at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona on Saturday, 9 April (kick-off: 16.30).
