Munster wing, Doug Howlett, has signed a one-year contact extension with the club which will take him up until the end of next season.
The former All Black will be part of Munster's drive this season to add the Amlin Challenge Cup to their two Heineken Cup titles. Coach Tony McGahan and his players will travel to Brive for an eagerly anticipated Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final clash on Saturday, 9 April (kick-off: 14.00 local time).
Meanwhile, Munster have also secured the signature of Connacht's Ian Keatley who will join on a two-year deal as a replacement for Paul Warwick who is departing for Stade Francais at the end of the season.
