"We are used to it, we played at the Ricoh Arena for an Anglo-Welsh Cup semi-final, so we know it is like to play in that sort of stadium," Ansbro told the Northampton Chronicle.
"It is close enough so our fans can get there. We would have preferred to play at Franklin's Gardens, because that is our home ground, but as long as we get the supporters there it is a massive advantage for us. It will be a great atmosphere, we are happy to play there as well. To have a home quarter-final makes a big difference.
"We were away at Munster last year, which is a difficult place to go. Now it is a slight advantage for us, but we will be up against a top quality side.
"We are always improving just playing with each other, you know what the players are going to do. So that always helps, the squad have been together for a couple of years now."
Skipper Dylan Hartley was also hoping to keep the tie at the Gardens where Saints have won their last 11 Heineken Cup games, but is adamant the change in venue won't make a difference.
Hartley said: "I am sure the fans will still make it a good atmosphere at Milton Keynes. We're happy to play there."
