The Scarlets' have to look back to 2002 for their last victory over their English opponents, when 10,614 supporters packed into their former home Stradegy Park to witness a 24-12 victory.
The Welsh region went onto the semi-finals of the competition that year, where coincidently they were knocked-out by the eventual Champions Leicester.
The Llanelli faithful will be looking for a repeat performance on home turf and Scarlets commercial manager Rupert Moon is delighted the crowd will be at near-capacity for the match.
"It has been an exceptional few weeks with regard to the ticket sales for the match," said Moon.
"Tickets have sold at an unprecedented rate and we have had to employ more staff and stay open late into the evening to deal with the demand.
"This Anglo-Welsh match is an historical occasion for the club, it is a chance to cement the new stadium and create new history.
"The match is going to be one of the hardest tests for our young side which has just started to come of age.
"It is exciting times at Parc Y Scarlets and the team is just going to get better from here on in."
