Bayonne moved back to the top of Pool 1 in the Amlin Challenge Cup after a bonus point win over I Cavalieri Estra.
The first half was dominated by the home side and they wrapped up the all important four tries in the first forty minutes.
Sam Gerber crossed for four tries taking his tournament tally to five and Garth Ziegler also grabbed a brace.
From the off Bayonne had control and Cedric Garcia kicked them ahead with two early penalties before converting Marc Baget, Gerber, Ziegler and Johnan Pietersen's touchdowns.
Just a minute after the break Gerber crossed for his second with Garcia also converted.
The wing then collected his hat-trick and went onto score his fourth in a two minute spell.
Luca Petillo pulled a try back fro the Italian visitors and Rima Wakarua was on target with the conversion.
In the last ten minute Ziegler scored his second and Dwayne Haare rounded of proceedings with a try two minutes before the final whistle.

Ceiron Thomas opened the scoring with the boot, before Tommaso Iannone responded but skipper Marco Wentzel led the way with Leeds' first try on 12 minutes.
Lee Blackett raced away for a try before half-time to give Leeds a 13-6 half-time lead before he crossed for a second on 43 minutes to put his side in a dominant position.
Thomas grabbed the bonus-point try on 55 minutes and from there the floodgates opened with Wentzel, Pete Wackett, Leight Hinton and Henry Fa'afili all scoring tries in the final quarter.
