29-year old Jones has penned a deal that will keep him at the Liberty Stadium until the end of the 2013-14 season, and has vowed to see out the rest of his career with the Ospreys.
The back row has made 97 appearances for the Ospreys to date including 24 Heineken Cup games and scored 14 tries. In addition, he has 45 Wales caps to his credit and he has played three tests for the British & Irish Lions.
Speaking after signing his new contract, Ryan Jones said:
"The Ospreys are my region, my team, and that will always be the case even when I've finished playing. I still believe that we are on the verge of something special with the set-up we have here. The players and the coaches are working hard together and I want to be a part of it."
