With the build-up to the Dublin 2013 European club rugby finals intensifying by the day, the four elite clubs of ASM Clermont Auvergne, Toulon, Leinster Rugby and Stade Francais Paris, who are focused on their quest for Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup silverware respectively, won't be the only clubs with Europe on their mind over the weekend of 17 and 18 May.

Sale and Brive will meet in round 3 and 4

Sale Sharks and Brive - both former European champions - are set to take the battle for Pool 2 honours and Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final qualification all the way to the wire.
Sale Sharks, the 2002 and 2005 Amlin champions, and 1997 Heineken Cup winners Brive, have both banked maximum points from the opening two rounds with their back-to-back contests in Rounds 3 and 4 poised to decide matters.
In Pool 1 all four teams - Harlequins, Connacht Rugby, Bayonne and I Cavalieri Estra - have notched up a win each to set up what has the potential to be another cliffhanger with Harlequins and Connacht Rugby also having their head-to-head matches in the next two Rounds in December.
The French trio of Montpellier, Stade Francais Paris and La Rochelle top their groups with La Rochelle's clashes with Gloucester Rugby when the tournament returns in December other potential group deciders.
