Morgan Parra will spearhead ASM Clermont Auvergne's Heineken Cup bid against Saracens at Stade Marcel Michelin on Saturday boosted by being selected as the Best Top 14 player of the 2009 / 2010 season.
The Clermont and France scrum half was honoured at last night's "La Nuit du Rugby."
Clermont finally lifted the French Championship title when they beat Perpignan 19-6 in the final and the club's coaching staff under Jean-Marc Lhermet, Vern Cotter and Joe Schmidt - the latter now with Leinster - were presented with the Best Top 14 Coaching Staff award ahead of challenging Saracens, Leinster and Racing Metro 92 in Pool 2 of European club rugby's premier tournament.
