Dublin will be the epicentre of European club rugby when the Irish capital stages both the Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup finals in May 2013.
The RDS will be the venue for the Amlin Challenge Cup final on Friday, 17 May, 2013. The following day, fans will be able to congregate in the European Champions Village in Merrion Square from 12 noon, with the Heineken Cup Final kicking off in the nearby Aviva Stadium at 17:00.
With the two finals being played in close proximity, up to 70,000 supporters will converge on the city to savour what has become an unmissable weekend festival of European club rugby.
Following the success of the European Champions Village in Cardiff 2011 and Twickenham in 2012, ERC have received hugely positive feedback from fans across Europe.
For supporters of all rugby colour and creed who want to savour the unique atmosphere of a major European rugby occasion. ERC has created a European Champions Village which will be situated on Dublin's historic Merrion Square a short walk from the Aviva Stadium.
The ERC European Champions Village, which opens at midday on Heineken Cup Final match day, will provide the ideal focal point for a pre-match and post-match gathering of fans with live music from Keywest and The LOLS as well as Los Mokos from the Basque region of south-west France.
A big screen will broadcast the Heineken Cup Final live, courtesy of Sky Sports, and there will be the opportunity for supporters to have their photo taken with the trophy and to purchase official adidas Heineken Cup Final and club merchandise.
