Munster mach winner Ronan O'Gara has warned his team mates to arrive in the right frame of mind for Sunday's sell-out Pool 1 clash with Sale Sharks at Edgeley Park.
Having kicked the reigning Heineken Cup champions from the edge of defeat against Montauban into an 18-16 win,
O'Gara knows Munster cannot afford to be so complacent in round 2.
While the champions were struggling to overcome French newcomers Montauban, Sale were running ASM Clermont Auvergne ragged and picking up a bonus point to boot.
The last time Munster went to Edgeley Park they left with their tail between their legs after as 27-13 defeat. That said, they were all pretty happy by the end of the campaign having won the title for the first time - and gained revenge on the way with a 1-9 demolition job on the Sharks at Thomond Park.
"Our mindset was wrong and that's dangerous," O'Gara told The Daily Telegraph.
"We presumed we had the win before we took to the pitch. We forgot to work hard and we got out of jail, all right.
"If we'd lost, it would have been completely sickening. It'll be a different story this weekend.
"Mind you, you take that as a good sign. There are all tough games wherever you look these days - but isn't that what you want?
"We've been here before, with Munster getting the win we had to. When I restarted after Montauban's last penalty, with three minutes to go, I could feel the intensity of our game rise.
"We'll have to hit that mark right through the game against Sale."
