It's down to the wire now for the five contenders who have been shortlisted for the ultimate individual accolade in northern hemisphere rugby, ERC European Player of the Year 2013.

Martin Johnson's team, the defending champions and the only club to have won European club rugby's most coveted prize twice, have wobbled on the domestic front but, when they get a sniff of the Euro challenge, they are transformed.
"Our League form may have been below par so far this season but the Heineken Cup gives us a chance to show that we are still the best side in Europe," said Smith.
"In theory the return match on Saturday should be easier but we won't be underestimating Beziers. They played really well and they will be watching the video this week to pinpoint any difficulties we had.
"We are very pleased to have come away from France with a win. It's always difficult to get a result in France against a strong French team and for me to get a try was a bonus.
"For us, Calvisano's victory over Neath was a bonus because it puts us in the driving seat. Neath must be bitterly disappointed but it gives us an edge on the rest of the Pool.
"This is my third Heineken Cup season and it's getting harder every year. Our objective is to win every game to take us through to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and then, hopefully, retain our title as European champions.
"Up until last season no-one had ever retained the Heineken Cup. Now we want to set a new record and make it three in a row."
