It's down to the wire now for the five contenders who have been shortlisted for the ultimate individual accolade in northern hemisphere rugby, ERC European Player of the Year 2013.

**Ireland have brought back a clutch of big names to face Argentina this weekend at Lansdowne Road. Backs Girvan Dempsey, Ronan O'Gara and Peter Stringer and forwards Reggie Corrigan, Shane Byrne, Gary Longwell, Victor Costello and Keith Gleeson have all been restored to the Irish starting XV after being rested or put on the bench in Sunday's 64-17 victory against Fiji.
**England prop Jason Leonard sported two cauliflower ears when he collected an MBE from the Queen at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
Leonard was accompanied at the Palace by his sons Harry, three, and Jack, 20 months, his partner Sandra, and his parents Maria and Frank. Leonard will earn his 99th cap for his country on Saturday against South Africa.
**Italy's star fly-half Diego Dominguez has been ruled out of Saturday's one-off Test with the world champion Wallabies in Genoa after picking up an injury against Argentina over the weekend. Dominguez, who scored six points against his country of birth on Saturday, picked up ligament damage to his right knee and had to watch the second half from the sidelines as his team went down 36-6.
