Colomiers coaches Jean-Philippe Carriat and Serge Milhas have been relieved of their duties due to poor results since the start of the season.
PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP Colomiers are currently sitting seventh of eight in Pool 2 of the French championship with three victories and five defeats, the most recent of which was inflicted by Pau on November 2 (40-28).
The pair had been at the helm of Colomiers Rugby for three years and took the club to the final of the French championship in 2000 which they lost to Stade Francais (28-23).
Captain Bernard De Giusti and Jean-Luc Sadourny are taking training sessions until the new coach is named, and it is rumoured that could it be an internal appointment, with Philippe Ducousso (assistant coach to Jacques Brunel when Colomiers got to the Heineken Cup final against Ulster in 1999 and currently involved in the youth set-up at the club), one of the main candidates.
