Two English Heineken Cup heavyweights go toe to toe on Saturday in the Zurich Premiership.
Heineken Cup Pool 6 leaders Gloucester travel east to face 1999-2000 Heineken Cup winners Northampton Saints at Kingsholm.
Both sides have got off to excellent starts in their domestic league. The Cherries are top with five wins, gaining 26 points from seven games, and the Saints are in third spot with five wins, with 22 points from their seven matches.
And Gloucester will be buoyed by the news that James Simpson-Daniel, Marcel Garvey and James Forrester have all been called into the English national squad for the first time.
Despite succumbing to their first loss of the season - 23-16 to Wasps last weekend - Gloucester director of rugby Nigel Melville keeps faith with the side that battled so hard at Adam's Park.
The only injury doubt in the squad is Simon Amor. The half back who signed from Cambridge University in the summer damaged a clavicle in Gloucester United's clash with Plymouth Albion at Kingsholm on Monday night and is likely to be replaced by English international wing Tom Beim.
Northampton Saints keep 13 players who began against London Irish last weekend. The only changes are wing Jon Sleightholme replacing Spaniard Oriol Ripol and lock Jon Phillips replacing Steve Williams, who is on international duty with Wales.
