The deal is worth more than £1million over three years. The Welsh National Leagues will be renamed the Lloyds TSB National Leagues.

The WRU will receive a figure in the region of £400,000 a year, to be shared on a sliding scale among clubs from Divisions One to Seven.

"Lloyds TSB is providing a major boost to the Welsh National Leagues and the Welsh Rugby Union with this sponsorship," said WRU chairman Glanmor Griffiths.

Richard Hill will earn his 50^th cap on Saturday for England's Test against NewZealand, knowing he has exceeded his childhood dreams.

"I'm really happy. As a kid I dreamed of playing for England but it's difficult to set your sights on reaching 50 caps," said Hill, who has scored 50 points through 10 tries.

Hill will start at openside flanker in the absence of Neil Back, England coach Clive Woodward said.

"He has been in outstanding form for Saracens so far this season. He is a world-class player and I am very excited to see him playing for England in the openside position."

Ireland winger Denis Hickie is still doubtful for Saturday's Test against Australia at Lansdowne Road.

Hickie has an injured wrist and is rated a 50/50 chance by coach Eddie O'Sullivan.

''It could be Friday afternoon before we will know the full extent of recovery. It is still touch and go," said O'Sullivan

O'Sullivan is leaving his decision on the Leinster winger until the last minute. Hickie is due to see a specialist on Friday morning when he will have a small protective cast removed from his wrist.
