The Anglo-Welsh fixtures between Bridgend and Bath Rugby and Pontypridd and Leeds Tykes in the second round of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup will be showcased by BBC Wales and S4C next month.
As the appeal of the new style Parker Pen Tournaments increases, both the home and away legs of the two matches will be broadcast live.
'This is great news for the Parker Pen Challenge Cup and further proof that the knock-out formula we introduced this season is heightening the profile and interest in the tournament,' said Derek McGrath, chief executive of ERC Ltd.
'There are some great clashes in the Second Round of the competition, not least the three games between English and French sides, the two Anglo-Welsh matches and the return game between Rugby Treviso and Newcastle Falcons.'
Both televised fixtures pit teams from the Zurich Premiership against Welsh Premiership sides, with the two Welsh teams enjoying home advantage in the opening leg.
Bridgend will host Bath Rugby, a team they beat in a pre-season friendly, at the Brewery Field on Friday, 6 December (kick-off 7.30 pm), while former Wales star Phil Davies, now director or rugby at Leeds, will take his Tykes team to Pontypridd's 'House of Pain' at Sardis Road on Saturday, 7 December (kick-off 5.30 pm).
The two teams met in the Pool stages of last season's Parker Pen Tournament. Leeds ran out 30-27 winners at Headingley, while Pontypridd triumphed 28-16 at home on their way to the Parker Pen Shield final.
All three London-based clubs, NEC Harlequins, Saracens and London Wasps, will have home advantage against top-flight French opposition in the First Leg. The Quins host Stade Francais on Saturday, 7 December, while both Saracens and Wasps play the following day against Colomiers and Bordeaux-Begles.
In the First Round of the Parker Pen Shield, the game between Rugby L'Aquila and Dinamo Bucuresti will be played on Sunday, 8 December. The dates and kick-off times for all the other matches are still to be confirmed, although all the referees have been appointed for the games.
