There was nothing between them when PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP sides Leeds Tykes and London Wasps fought out a 27-27 draw at Adams Park in the Zurich Premiership.
Despite being 20-6 ahead at half time, Leeds staged a remarkable second half comeback.
`"It just seemed to be one-way traffic. Another couple of minutes of injury time and we would have been down by another three points."
He continued: "I said to the referee you didn't give us a chance to play rugby. In the dressing room there was just absolute frustration.
"It is difficult for the players when they are playing by the rules and penalised for something completely different. It's a game we should have won comfortably.''
Two other PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP sides went head to head in the Zurich Premiership with Saracens playing NEC Harlequins.
Here is the reaction from the game:
"The display in the first half was pretty good and it shows what we can do when we've got our thinking caps on, and they actually do things well," said Saracens head coach Wayne Shelford.
"But 10 minutes after the break, you have to ask yourself how can they change like that?
"This is the learning curve that I keep talking about, it's the mental toughness, and these guys have not played enough winning football and they don't know how to win.
Mark Evans of Quins was in philosophical mood after the game.
He said: "You can't expect to win a match after giving the opposition an 18-point start, but at 23-0 you are looking down the end of a very long barrel."
