Bourgoin coach Philippe Saint-Andre knows only too well what it is like to beat Llanelli in the Heineken Cup. As coach at Gloucester he took a team to Stradey Park and won and then completed the double at Kingsholm in 200/2001.
But with only one score separating the teams in Llanelli, and a mere point making the difference at Gloucester, Saint-Andre is expecting another tough test for his Bourgoin side on Friday night.
"It's going to be extremely difficult for us because Llanelli are Heineken Cup specialists. They could have won the Heineken Cup last year but for that unlucky penalty in the semi-finals," said Saint-Andre.
"When I was at Gloucester we were lucky to beat them with a crazy drop goal. I think Llanelli remain the favourites to win our, but our win at Sale has given us some confidence.
"We are looking to produce another high quality match. It was good to win at Sale, but we have to confirm that victory by winning at home."
