The Sharks will be looking to kick start their first Heineken Cup with a victory in Glasgow tonight (kick-off 7.30 pm)
After last weekend's home defeat to Bourgoin the Manchester side know they need to get back on the victory trail to remain in contention in Pool 3.
It will be a nostalgic trip for The Sharks' assistant coach Rowen Sheppard, who made 10 Heineken Cup appearances for Glasgow Rugby before moving to England.
And the former Scottish full-back will be telling his troops about the pitfalls of playing at Hughenden against a Glasgow side currently unbeaten at home this season.
"The Heineken Cup is a big tournament for the Scottish sides and graduating from the pool stages is a huge focus for their season," said Sheppard.
"I know what Glasgow are capable of and they have taken some notable scalps at Hughenden. That includes sides like reigning champions Leicester, Brive and Pau."
Having lost 35-15 at Llanelli in their opening Heineken Cup tie last weekend , Glasgow will also be seeking a much needed victory.
Calvin Howarth is back at outside half for the home side, while The Sharks will have former Aussie centre Graeme Bond in their back line for the first time.
