Saracens ripped the record book to shreds with an incredible 151-0 win over a hapless Dinamo Bucaresti team at Vicarage Road today.
Saracens scored 23 tries as they smashed virtually every record in Parker Pen Shield history. The score is 35 points higher than the previous best, the winning margin 41 points better and the try-count six better.
With Saracens winning the first-leg match 87-11 in Bucharest, the London club recorded a combined scoreline of 238-11.
Saracens led 66-0 at the break, with 10 Saracens players scoring a try apiece in only 40 minutes. Worse was to come for Dinamo, however, with 85 points being racked up in the second half. Australian legend Tim Horan and hooker Matt Cairns both scored try hat-tricks.
Dinamo players will be having nightmares about Saracens. With the 238 points they've conceded to the London club in the past eight days added to the 113 they conceded to them in one match in this tournament last season, Dinamo are averaging 117 points against every time they play Saracens.
