England have announced a 30-strong squad for their three November internationals against New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.
Included in the squad are the on-fire Gloucester trio of James Simpson-Daniel, Marcel Garvey and James Forrester, who are all set for their international debuts.
Heineken Cup Pool 2 side Gloucester have won both their matches and look certain qualifiers for the knockout stages. A powerful 35-16 home victory over Munster in Round 1 and a crushing 80-28 away defeat of Italian side Viadana in Round 2 has no doubt cast the Cherries trio into the mind of England coach Clive Woodward.
The captain's armband will be worn by Leicester Tigers lock Martin Johnson, who has regained the honour after being rested for the Test against Argentina in June. Captain that day was Gloucester prop Phil Vickery, and he is named along with Jonny Wilkinson as vice-captain
'Phil proved an outstanding captain in Argentina. Both he and Jonny currently captain their clubs in an exemplary way, and both have major roles to play on and off the field,' said Woodward.
