Bath and England fullback Matt Perry is hoping to return from injury to help his side complete a remarkable end-of-season turnaround and achieve their goal of qualifying for the Heineken Cup.
Just a few short weeks ago, with Bath staring relegation in the face, talk was of merger with Bristol Shoguns, and their European dreams seemed to have shattered with a heavy first-leg defeat at the hands of Saracens.
But now, as the May sunshine bathes the smiling faces at the Recreation ground, the 1998 Heineken champions have a new spring in their step, a determined 24-12 victory over Newcastle Falcons kept them in the premiership - at Bristol's expense, and a thrilling last-minute try from Tom Voyce saw of Sarries in the semi-final second-leg.
And Perry knows that despite his side's lowly Zurich Premiership position, they can sneak into the Heineken Cup by winning the PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP
"Our goal at the start of the season was to get Heineken Cup qualification, and we have one more game to do that. If we can win on Sunday then we would have achieved our goal for the season. Having won the Heineken Cup in 1998, it's where every team wants to be.

"The game against Saracens was the crucial game of the campaign...in the second leg we were pretty much out of the game until the very last play when we scored a late try, and we won it.
And why have Bath managed to be successful in the PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP? : "We are a side with a lot of guts, we always fight to the end."
Perry is looking forward to the third meeting between the sides this season.
"They will be hot favourites, but I think we can beat them. We have had one win and one loss against them this year. We always have good games against Wasps because both sides like to play. To win on Sunday would be a real bonus for us.
