There were mixed fortunes for Heineken Cup finalists Toulouse and Perpignan in the French championship play-offs.
Perpignan lost a close match 24-19 to Stade Francais in Pool B on May 5, and they have lost the services of Phil Murphy for two weeks with a calf injury.
Perpignan now have an uphill struggle to make the semi-finals. They trail Agen by four points with just two matches remaining, and will have to play those matches without the influential No. 8.
But the club is hopeful he will recover in time to be available for selection for the Heineken Cup final on 24 May.
Toulouse, still on a high after their 13-12 victory over Munster in the Heineken Cup semi-final, easily beat Pau 58-23 scoring six tries and a penalty try in the process.
Xavier Garbajosa and Christian Labit both scored twice, Cedric Debrosse and Trevor Brennan also added their names to the try-scoring list.
Toulouse head Pool A with three wins from four matches.
