London Wasps' fine season in the PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP and Zurich Premiership has helped to entice a trio of top class players to Adams Park next season...
As reported earlier this week on ercrugby.com Bath wing Tom Voyce, wing/fullback has joined Wasps, and now, the west London side have announced the signings of Connacht flanker Johnny O'Connor and Cardiff prop Tim Payne All three have signed for two seasons.
Wasps' Director of Rugby, Warren Gatland said, "I'm extremely glad that these current players have agreed to re-sign. All are an important part of the club and have contributed hugely to Wasps over the years.
And Wasps report that Stuart Abbott, Alex King, Trevor Leota, Simon Shaw, Peter Scrivener and Mark Van Gisbergen have agreed terms and will be with the club for another season. The players' contracts were up for negotiation at the end of the current season and they have decided to stay. However, Phil Greening and Martyn Wood have yet to agree terms and are still in negotiation.
"As with the three new signings, I have no doubt they will fit perfectly into the club. All three are young and very talented players who have a great future ahead of them," added Gatland.
