Toulouse have suffered another injury blow as they prepare for Saturday's Heineken Cup final against Perpignan at Lansdowne Road (Kick-off 15:00).
Scrum-half Jean-Baptiste Elissalde, who often assumes goal kicking duties will miss the game after a training ground accident left him with torn thigh muscle.
"Jean-Baptiste's injury came to light on Friday in a training session... and he will not be able to play on Saturday," said Toulouse coach Guy Noves.
The versatile French international Frederik Michalak is the natural replacement, to start the match at nine, and not in his usual position at outside-half.
The news is another blow for the 1996 champions, full-back Nicolas Jeanjean will definitely miss the match after aggravating an old shoulder injury in a play-off victory over French champions Biarritz last weekend.
But Noves is hopeful that prop Patrice Collazo will be fit however, after undergoing intensive treatment on an ankle injury. A decision will be made on his participation on Wednesday.
