Caerphilly coach Mark Ring will be hoping his side's recent slump is just a glitch as they prepare for their forthcoming PARKER PEN SHIELD semi-final double header with Petrarca Padova.
The Castletown men have now lost their last three Welsh Premiership matches. All three defeats have been heavy, and they have conceded 219 points, and scored just 46.
Caerphilly's run of defeats:
March 16: Neath 67-14 Caerphilly
March 20: Caerphilly 19-65 Newport
March 25: Llanelli 77-13 Caerphilly
Ring said: "We are looking forward to the challenge of the PARKER PEN SHIELD semi-final.
"It is an escape from the domestic game, and an experience the players, coaches and fans all enjoy.
"We have done well so far in this competition, we have put in some good performances, particularly at home. We will be focusing on the Petrarca Padova game as success in this competition is very important for the club and the fans."
The first leg kicks-off in Italy on the weekend of 11-13 April, with the return leg two weeks later at Caerphilly's home ground, Virginia Park.
The match will be shown live on Italian TV. click here for more details
