Advance ticket sales for the Heineken Cup quarter-finals on the weekend of 11/12/13 April have smashed through the 100,000 barrier for the first time.
The previous tournament record of just over 71,000 for the 1999/2000 quarter-finals has already been bettered by over 40 per cent.
Welford Road (16,815) and Stradey Park (10,800) - where defending champions Leicester Tigers clash with Munster and Llanelli take on
Perpignan respectively - have long since been sell-outs.
Leinster Lions and Toulouse both opted to stage their quarter-finals away from their home grounds at larger stadia and are on course for
massive crowds.
Over 44,000 tickets have been snapped up for Leinster Lions' clash with Biarritz Olympique at Lansdowne Road, where the capacity on the day will be 47,000, and 28,000 tickets have already gone for Toulouse's showdown with Northampton Saints at Le Stadium de Toulouse (capacity 36,500).
