Leinster Captain Reggie Corrigan has been given the all clear by to play in the Heineken Cup Semi-final against Perpignan at Lansdowne Road on Sunday. (Kick-off 14:45)
Corrigan has been absent since breaking his wrist whilst playing for Ireland against Italy in the Six Nations in February, but surgeon Dr. Bill Quinlan has now ruled the front-row-man fit for selection.
Corrigan resumed training before the Lions 18-13 Heineken Cup quarter-final victory over Biarritz, but did not make the starting lineup despite hopes that he might.
The skippers return to fitness is news that will please Leinster coach Matt Williams, who said earlier in the week he expected his talismanic skipper would be available for selection for a knockout tie that will attract almost 50,000 fans to the famous old Dublin stadium.
Williams said: "He is a very important player for us, and we are going to need everyone on board as we face an excellent Perpignan side."
The match will be broadcast live on RTE, BBC Sunday Grandstand and FR3, and webcast live on ercrugby.com Click 'Broadcast Centre' to tune in.
